Intro
MDS Site & Power Group is operating in UAE since 1981 with offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, DIC, Erbil and Kuwait.
The group in UAE and Kuwait provides Data Center activities and Turnkey Power projects for Oil and Gas in addition to Telecom and Utilities. Its Data Center Infrastructure Specialists have skills that range from consultancy and design to final implementation and training.
Facility Management and services include consultancy, design, supply, installation and maintenance with a team that has an engineering ratio of 90% with customer satisfaction as its main objective.
For Power projects, supply, install and maintain diesel generators for standby and continuous operation, as well as DC systems for various applications, also provision of generators on a rental basis.
Telecom services are provided in UAE, Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Steel manufacturing and supplies of cabinets, canopies, shelters, tanks and fire rated doors are provided across the region. MDS-Site & Power group holds many certifications for services and products manufacturing.

Since data centers are critical service facilities, hardware and application maintenance is essential to keep the systems running. With 24/7 availability to support customer needs for continuous system availability and to keep the infrastructure working reliably and at peak performance is the best solution for a trouble free and smooth operation of the equipment.
MDS Site & Power Abu Dhabi provide the clients with tailored maintenance and support scheme these schemes are all made based on the client needs and requirement, they vary from preventive maintenance scheme, corrective and on-call maintenance schemes, currently, around 450 satisfied customers with constantly renewed agreements.
The technical team attends periodic factory and in-house training, also they are based in an up to date workshop equipped with all the latest and necessary tools to carry on repairs and maintenance.

AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts management)
For many years, MDS, has been using Traverse software located on high-level secured servers. By using Rosmiman®, information shall continue being saved on the same place, an integration with Traverse Software has been correctly implemented, making day-to-day tasks easier for end-users. The data migration, including all historical data from last years was moved to Rosmiman® without any inconvenience using internal tools available on the system for data migration using Microsoft Excel templates.
The real complexity of the project was to make Rosmiman®, a CAFM System, to be able to generate, automatically, the projected invoices for each single contract, as well as the revenue calculation based on internal company rules and the automatic generation of real invoices on Company’s Invoice template with a single click.
Nowadays, the system is automatically generating all invoices for the AMC contracts based on each particular contract condition.

Rentals
With a group of almost 200 brand new electrical generators, the management of rental contracts and invoicing procedures should be very well organized and controlled, there is where Rosmiman® intervened as a main actor on this new company’s business.
Generators can be rented on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, can also be off-hired at any time with very short notice to the supplier, fuel charges should be also considered for the period.
With another specific calculation algorithm, Rosmiman® created a tool to be able to automatically generate invoices, revenue calculation and reports with ease.

Operations Department
With more than 500 active customers on the AMC mode, the company required to have a CAFM system to provide a solution for the Helpdesk, dealing with reactive calls for corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance.
MDS Site & Power goes Mobile
The main requirement from the company is to go mobile, using the Rosmiman Mobile applications on more than 30 devices, currently using 7” Tablets to perform daily activities without using any paper.
